We have been part of the Gracie Barra community for over 12 years and part of the GB Mckinney and Little Elm family since 2021. The facility is impeccably clean, and the culture is genuinely welcoming — it’s a place for everyone. Because of that experience, I have zero doubt that the new Little Elm location is going to be just as incredible. What makes this school special is the culture. It’s welcoming, disciplined, and focused on helping everyone improve, whether you’re brand new or experienced. The instruction is top-tier and surprisingly personal for such a large academy. You’re not just another face in the room. The staff is world-class, led by Professor Inacio Neto, with a deep bench of black belt instructors and advanced students. What stands out even more is that everyone, coaches and students alike, are great training partners who genuinely want to help each other grow. If you’re new to jiu-jitsu, one thing you’ll quickly realize is that not all schools are the same. I feel fortunate that we landed here. Ultimately jiu-jitsu is a journey about your own progress and the longer you stick with it the bigger the gap becomes between the person who walked in for a trial class and the person you are now. World class Jiu Jitsu team led by a world champion instructor. Professor Inacio Neto runs an exceptionally effective school with classes for all ages and skill levels. There are so many positive things to say about the gym, community and professors. The facility is consistently clean and organized. The professors have a special way of making complex concepts and movements simple for even the most novice individuals to understand. The community is phenomenal. The people that train are positive, upbeat, and always willing to provide coaching and encouragement. My daughter started out at 5 years old. Over the last four years her strength and confidence have grown tremendously. As a parent, you always want to find a safe space for your child to grow and learn.
